  Pomelo trees are a form of citrus evergreens that flourish in subtropical, humid temperatures and produce fruit that resembles grapefruits. The fruit tends to be pulpier than the average grapefruit, with particularly fragrant rinds and leathery leaves.   The Pomelo tree is native to tropical Asia and South America, they even grow in Florida and California! Some of my neighbors have a tree and as you can see in the picture below, the pomelo tree looks just like any other tree, in fact it looks a bit like a huge lemon tree.
